Marc Mayfield graduated from Longview High School in 1986. Marc obtained his Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989. Marc also attended the University of Houston Law Center, where he obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1992 and was admitted into the State Bar of Texas in 1992.
On December 31, 2001, Marc became board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and was awarded a Certificate of Special Competence by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has handled personal injury cases involving wrongful death, defective products, toxic torts, industrial accidents, medical malpractice, unreasonably dangerous premises defects, automobile accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, and on-the-job injuries. Many cases stemming from Texas Workers’ Compensation cases, which he also handles.
Marc Mayfield helps families by providing estate planning services to prepare loved ones for future events, including: wills, power of attorney, medical power of attorney, medical directives, life estates, living estates, trusts, and much more. Marc is also prepared to help caregivers, executors, administrators, and loved ones process that paperwork when the time comes. Depending on the size and debt of the estate Mr. Mayfield can represent clients in Probate as Letters of Testamentary, Probate as Muniment of Title, Small Estate Affidavits and much more including transferring title on an estate or vehicle.
